Issue 5 was officially launched on Thursday 29th October by Dr John Howard at a reception in UCD School of Music.
Congratulations to Shane McMahon, recipient of this year's UCD Musicology Prize. 'Imagined Histories, Real Presences: Interpreting L'Orfeo' was chosen as the most outstanding article of Issue 5.
Copies of Issue 5 are available from the School of Music in UCD, priced €15 (including p&p).

The date for submission to Issue 4 has now closed, and the yearbook will be published shortly.
This year the UCD Musicology Prize will be awarded to the most outstanding contribution from a student at UCD School of Music, in memory of the late Professor Anthony Hughes, who passed away in November. Professor Hughes was Professor of Music at UCD from 1958 until 1991.
